LIVETARGET RELEASES NEW LINEUP OF HOLLOW BODY FROGS
LIVETARGET officially introduced the new 2026 LIVETARGET Hollow Body Frog lineup at the Bassmaster Classic, where the launch was met with an outstanding response from anglers. Throughout the event, the new frogs sold strongly direct-to-consumer at the show, confirming immediate demand for the redesigned platform. Following the successful debut, the full lineup is now shipping and available at authorized LIVETARGET retailers nationwide.
The 2026 frogs were completely re-engineered as a full performance system, with several key design changes focused on improving posture, walking action, durability, and strike conversion in real fishing conditions. Updates include:
- Refined body profile with a fuller forward section and narrower rear to improve walking action and startup
- Rear-weighted balance for a more natural sitting posture and better control over mats, pads, and heavy cover
- Controlled-collapse body construction designed to compress in the right zones for cleaner hook penetration
- New Custom Mustad AlphaPoint® double hook integration engineered to work with the body instead of restricting movement
- Improved leg designs across the lineup, including skirted legs for classic action and realistic frog-leg styling on the Freestyle model
- Enhanced anatomical detailing and premium finishes for the most realistic LIVETARGET frogs to date
These updates were developed together to create frogs that start easier, walk cleaner, move more naturally on the surface, and convert more strikes when fish commit.
2026 LIVETARGET Hollow Body Frog
The core all-around walking frog, built for heavy cover, open lanes, and general-purpose topwater fishing. The refined profile, rear-weighted posture, and controlled-collapse body help the bait move cleanly through vegetation while improving hook-up efficiency.
2026 LIVETARGET Hollow Body Popping Frog
Designed for calling fish out of cover, the Popping Frog features a custom cupped mouth for stronger spit, chug, and surface disturbance, combined with the new posture and collapse system to help explosive topwater strikes convert more consistently.
2026 LIVETARGET Hollow Body Freestyle Frog
Built for maximum realism, the Freestyle Frog uses lifelike rear frog-leg styling to create a more natural kicking action, increased water displacement, and a more convincing frog silhouette across a wider range of retrieves.
The strong response at the Classic confirmed the goal of the redesign — deliver frogs that look more natural, fish easier, and land more fish — and the 2026 lineup represents the most performance-driven frog platform LIVETARGET has produced.
