The Mustad Classic O'Shaughnessy fish hook features a needle eye perfect for fishing a Ballyhoo with a rig pin rig. The 2X strong wire hook is perfect and strong enough for targeting Marlin or Tuna. Using the hook with the highly productive, but somewhat forgotten cedar plugs is another great way to rig this short-shanked hook. To improve the hookup rate on your cedar plug lure, place a plastic tube above the hook, to prevent the hook from going too far into the cedar plug. This will reduce the leverage effect and produce more fish in the cooler.
